Your silly poems are really nice
but I would offer some advice.
To make a silly poem more fun,
You need to add a silly pun.

It's fun to do, a simple trick.
If done right will make one sick.
Not like when you ate that food,
and it didn't taste so very good.

It's the kind of ill that comes from chuckles,
that causes you to rub your knuckles.
To add a pun is very fun,
But right now I can't think of one.

If you can then let us know,
back to this thread we all will go.
To read the silly pun with glee,
I'm sure you'll do this better than me.

Anything can be made to work if you fiddle with it.  If you fiddle with something long enough, you'll break it.

Izzat all? dear Den does ask,
He seems to think it's an easy task,
To write a poem from start to end
And making all the words just blend.

To give someone a laugh or a grin
When you're not even sure where to begin.
So I think that the kindest thing I can do
Is give a welcome to the new part of our crew.
There is LisaLisa who likes to cook
Or settle back with a really good book.
Then there's Jemila who moved to Japan
So she could go and be with her man.
Now we come to MamaCat who loves to read
She has 2 cats, but didn't tell us what breed.

So I just want to give a big hello
We are glad you came and joined the Fold.
I am so tired I will hit the hay
And will come out another day to play.
So I think that I will do what is right,
And go to bed but first say goodnight.

Oh I wish I had the time
To write a silly rhyme.
But I have a very tired head
And must go on to bed.

I need lots of sleep
To be a pleasant peep.
So now I'll say good nighty
And see you all on Friday.

It does say Silly Poems Cheesy

Talent for rhyme I have not
Which puts me in an awful spot
when called to write a silly poem
at least it's not a lengthy tome!

So talentless I shall remain
and pretend it doesn't cause me pain
to be considered a poetic hack
I wrote this poem...and that's a fact!

Roses are red

Daisies are yellow

Poems should rhyme

My good fellow.
