I'm going to have to make real sure I carry my HALT spray every time I ride my bikes now.  Someone posted pictures during all that snow and cold temps we were having.  This picture was taken about six miles down the road from where I live.  They say the heavy snowfall and cold temps must have caused them to come out of the woods, maybe looking for something to eat.  They were standing along a road I ride on my bicycles all the time in better weather.  It's bad enough I have 400 pound bears chasing me. And he can move a lot faster than a 400-pound bear.  Shocked

I don't know but it's worth a try.  Unless I want to start carrying my 44 mag when I ride.  I hate to do that, it might draw too much attention and besides it's heavier than a can of halt. Roll Eyes

Wonder if he leaves his door open.

We had a door downstairs that didn't latch.  Something warped or shifted and the striker didn't line up with the latch.  One night in the middle of the night we heard something banging around downstairs.  I got up and grabbed a flashlight and went down to see what was going on.  When I shined the light over toward our laundry area here was a big fat racoon staring back at me with a look on his face like "what, you never saw a racoon before?".  I turned on the lights in that part of the house and put a baby gate to keep him from coming upstairs and he slowly wandered back out the way he came in.  I installed a bolt on the door after that.
