Jumping in here.  I am a novice seamstress.  I made a dress for Easter which turned out pretty well, now I am looking to make a top and and a pair of pants.

I could use y'alls experience and advice. Smiley

I have done quite a bit of sewing but nothing much more than mending for a long, long time. I am also an upholsterer, there is a woman in the complex here that I am going to be redoing her couch but I have to get my industrial machine fixed first. Once you use one of them it is hard to go back to the smaller machines but I do sew the odd thing.

I use my nail gun but it doesn't always work out too well.

Anything can be made to work if you fiddle with it.  If you fiddle with something long enough, you'll break it.

Sometimes I reap what I sew.
